I’m sorry, but I do not have Yahoo Msngr or have any idea who this is.

If you’d like to get in touch with me you can message me on my personal blog or email me.

I’m hoping when November starts back we can get or people to participate.

I’ve only had a few sketches and they were funny!

I’m hoping more people will join in! If you do, it would make this a lot more fun!

Don’t be afraid to submit your work! This blog is just for fun!

SNL will be on a break until November.

We’re going to start back with Alec Baldwin this week!

So, if you want to write a sketch with the cast and Alec, do it now!

HOST THIS WEEK: ANNA FARIS

secondarysnl:

Let’s get to writing up some awesome sketches!

I am fascinated by sketch comedy (the performing aspect) but I'm not too confident on my creative abilities. Can I still follow the blog even though I don't contribute?

Oh, of course! There are no rules about following. Anyone can follow!

i know this sounds dumb but what if you are afraid what people think of your sketches (ideas)?
Anonymous

Well, I can understand where you might be afraid. Everyone is nervous to share an idea for something like that because some people might not find it funny or whatever. I’ve said this before and it stands strongly for this blog and if I ever hear about any kind of cruel words going around, I’ll have to change things completely and take fun away from this blog.

This blog is a place for creativity and fun. It’s not a place to judge people on how well they can write a sketch or really how funny it is. This is a place to share sketches and just have fun and read what other people would have in mind if they were writers for SNL. I say that you should put your URL and stuff because if people really love your work, they’d want to find the awesome person behind it.

If you have a extreme fear of this, send me a message and we will personally talk about it and work something out and try to make it as anonymous as possible.

I think that it should not be a problem because I know that a lot of people understand how creativity is something that should not be judged. It’s something beautiful and if you’re lucky enough to have a talent to write a sketch, I think you should be able to share it.

Holy shit.

I’ve totally forgotten about this blog this week.

My apologies!

The host is Melissa McCarthy this week.

Which, probably most of you have known that.

So, go ahead and post sketches if you have any!

Sorry again!

Adopted Son

Adopted Son

Shannon Kelley  (generalgoodtimes.tumblr.com)

Dad: Alec Baldwin

Son: Bobby Moynihan

A father is working in the basement- which is very cluttered. You can tell that this is man who has a lot of hobbies and likes to build things. He is wearing those kind of glasses that watchmakers wear and is dressed in “dad” clothes.

Son walks in.

Son (Gary):”Hi Dad!” He is so happy.

Dad:”Hi, Adopted Son!”

Gary:”Oh come on, why do you always have to bring that up?”

Dad:”I mean it’s so obvious, I feel like if I don’t clear the air and acknowledge the elephant in the room all the time, tension will start to build.”

Son:”Yeah but Dad. You ALWAYS bring it up. And at the worst times. Last time we went to go get ice cream with Ricky and you just told the woman working there “Here’s my son Ricky and here’s my son Gary, he’s adopted.”

Dad:”Well, you are”

Son:”Yes I know that. But when you compare me to Ricky like that I feel unwanted”

Dad:”Well, you are. “

“DAD!”

Dad:”It’s true adopted son. Your adoptive mother and I, your adoptive father, wanted children but your mother couldn’t conceive. So we adopted you. But eight years later, your adoptive mother finally had a son of our true blood and could finally bear the Johnson name.”

Son:”My last name is Johnson too you know”

Dad:”Yes, but you’re not a true Johnson. do you see what I mean?”

Son:”No, no absolutely not. You know, you raised me in a very warm environment until Ricky came along.”

Dad:”Yes. Yes we did. see we thought that we could use the “fake it till you make it” strategy until it worked. and it did, until your adoptive mother gave birth to a real son. Then it was just a matter of time until you went to college and we could give all of our attention to him.

Son:”That’s completely unfair and hurtful! I will have to go through years of therapy for this! You have been awful, negligent parents. I’m going back to the orphanage, maybe I’ll find some love there!”

He runs out, flailing arms and crying.

Father screams “But we already tried that! They wouldn’t take you back!”

Argh. I haven't had my laptop for the last few days so I haven't been able to continue work on my sketch. I'll shoot for next week. :)

That’s fine! I’m just excited you’ll be writing one!

Don’t forget Saturday is the last day to submit sketches for this week!

Host is Alec Baldwin!

Let’s get more sketches in!
